This message is a section of my sermon: “The best choice.” There are many choices that one could make in life. Some choices are good while others are not so good. The message beseeches us to choose peace instead of chaos; to choose light rather than darkness; to choose life, but not death. Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life…” (John 11:25). He also emphasizes that life is more than meat and the body more than raiment (Luke 12:23). The bottom line is, choosing Christ is choosing life, for John says, “In him was life, and the life was the light of all people.” John1:4 (NRSV).
The funny thing is; one cannot remain neutral. By not making one choice, you are already choosing its opposite. There are only two sides to a door: inside or outside. If you are not inside, you are automatically outside. You cannot be in-between the door! Please, make the right choice.
