Home Coming

The study of the Prodigal son teaches us about home coming. God loves us and wants every one to come home to the kingdom of God. The prodigal son had an initial choice which led him astray. But when the road got rough, he realized his mistake and came back home. Likewise, God is calling all to come back home into the kingdom by repenting, confessing our sins, and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Be enlisted today!

Spirit Substantiates Scripture

There is a great connection between the Holy Spirit and Scripture.  Jesus preached the Word with power and authority because He was full of the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit helps to understand, interpret, and apply the Word of God to our lives.  Knowing the Bible, that is, the Word of God, is knowing the mind of God.  Faith comes by hearing the Word, and the Word in turn builds us up in the will of God.  Receive the blessings as you watch this YouTube video.

Christian Unity

Counseling                            Christian Unity
By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit (1 John 4:13 NRSV).
Beloved members of the Body of Christ, the certainty that we are possessed and guided by the Holy Spirit, is the inward testimony that we are in real union with God and with one another as believers. What matters most is not simply the possession of all the necessities of life, although this is important; it is the unity of purpose, common aims, shared ideals, and the effort of each member to realize our goal. The same concept abides in the spiritual realm: union with God in Christ matters most. Working and walking together with each other become easier when each member is united with Christ.
There are many proofs of unity in the body of Christ, the Church.  An inward assurance that we discover as we examine and evaluate our own experiences; those proofs that we discern as we live with each other in our faith relationships; and the practical fruits that manifest as we engage the presence of God. The greatest proof is the clear consciousness that we, growing with experience, become mature and are guided by the Holy Spirit. We learn to distinguish and evaluate our inner controls. They become clearer the longer we live and the more fully we respond to the Spirit’s impulses.
Now brothers and sisters, let us walk the journey of faith together in the bond of peace, by the Holy Spirit, and our Master’s work that is entrusted to us will advance.

A Meaningful Life Through the Risen Christ

“Why do you look for the living among the dead?” Luke 24:5

Gabriel Akinbode
Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is alive forever! Maybe this fact is not settled in your mind yet, and that is why the reality of the living Christ is just a fantasy to you. When you did not know what to do about it, then, perhaps you said, “Let’s just leave that matter and let’s keep on enjoying life.”
Where shall we find the unfailing and abiding springs of abundant joy and peace that produce the noblest living?
Not in mere physical cravings that produce momentary joys but in Christian purposes
There is danger in trying to satisfy our perpetual needs with earthly satisfactions! Wealth, pleasure, and temporal power are all good when they are honestly gained and rightly used; but they cannot give permanent satisfaction to the growing human spirit.
Not in failing teachers but in the unfailing Christ.
Great men and women have gained nobility and they claim our devotion; but each has his or her domain, and each rules a part of life. But the One Ruler above them all is Christ, who never failed to illustrate the truth He taught by His own example. As the moral and spiritual Master, Jesus Christ is Supreme.
Not in the record of Jesus but in the living Christ
There is always a painful tendency to go back to a record of Jesus and seek to conform to His example in our conduct and character. But the central fact in the Christian faith is that Christ is living now, unseen but real, actually able to make contact with us, to reproduce His motives in our lives. We Are Not Following a Dead Man as our Example; we are swayed in our daily life by a living PERSON, “Whom, though not physically seen, we love.” We can feel Christ, choose Him, follow Him, not an abstract principle or a cold law, but a warm personal Lord of our daily life. Do you have Him? He is near you and you can call Him now to be your Lord and Savior. Just repent and ask for forgiveness. Tell Him to come into your life. I assure you, you will not remain the same anymore! He will transform you!
